Dekock’ scintillating 129 put South Africa in command!

Amla and deKock started the innings from where they left overnight. DeKock looked in traffic form while Amla too, smashed Pakistani bowlers around the park. Seam and the spin attack both looked helpless as the pair put 102 runs for the 6th wicket. Amla was undone by Hasan Ali .Philandar joined de kock but he lasted for 14 runs only, as Amir got the better of him. DeKock scored some quick runs with the tailenders while the lead crossed 300 runs mark. De kock scored a scintillating 129 off 138 balls as he was dismissed by Shadab Khan. Rabada made 21 and Olivier was undone by Shadab. Team South Africa made 303, leaving Pakistan to chase 381 for victory.
In pursuit of 381, Pakistan opened the innings with Shan and Imam. Both provided solid opening stand for Pakistan as Imam scored 35 and was dismissed by Dale Steyn in 20th over. Azhar ali and Shan Masood built the innings for Pakistan but the resistance didn’t last long as Shan masood was undone by Steyn for 37. Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq got together for 3rd wicket. Azhar was out of form for last few innings but he looked good in the beginning of his innings. Leading wicket taker of the tournament; Olivier was brought into the attack and soon he removed Azhar Ali for 13,leavig Pakistan at 107-3, Leading runs scorer of the series; Babar Azam joined Asad Shafiq for the 4th wicket. Both added quick runs before the end of play. Babar azam remained unbeaten at 17(21) with 4 boundaries. Asad Shafiq is not out at aggressive 48(47) with 8 boundaries. Pakistan ended the day at 153/3 and further require 228 for the victory with 2 days to go.
