Worcestershire: Abdullah Ejaz produced a sterling all-round show to Pakistan physical disability cricket team clined the first win in the Natwest physical disability T20 world series with thrilling 12-run victory over Bangladesh at the Ground here on Thursday.
The hard-hitting Abdullah slammed a dazzling 41 from just 23 balls with five fours and one sixe. Later he snapped-up four wickets for only 21 runs in four 4 overs to be deservingly adjudged man-of-the-match.
Bangladesh , won the toss and choos ro bowl first, Pakistan posted a fighting total 130. Muhamnad Shabaz contributed 39 runs wit five boundaries and one six,, Hasnain Alam16 with four fours and Saifullah 15. with two fours.
Medium pacer MM Hossain grabbed 3-14, slow left armer Durpam Patronobis took 2-18,
In reply, Bangladeshi showed good fighting spirit particularly their batsman MJ Yuian led the team with a fighting unbeaten 45 -ball 50 with five hug sixeses . All-rounder Drupam patronobis contributed 16 off 24 balls with one six. Mahfuzur Rehman 14 off 12 balls with two fours and a six.
However, the Bangal Tigers’ valiant effort was not enough as the Tigers were restricted on 118-9 in 20 overs with all-rounder Abdullah ,caused the main damage with his firee spell grabbed wickets each Shahbaz grabbed 4- 21 in 4 overs and Jahazaib Tiwana captured 1- 15 in 3 overs while Wasqif Shah took 126 – in 4 overs .respectively.
Pakistan Pd Beat Bangladesh Pd by 13 runs.
